Help Us Win $10,000 in The All-Star Animal Rescue Site $100,000 Shelter+ Challenge!
The second 2010 All-Star Animal Rescue Site $100,000 Shelter+ Challenge started on May 17. This challenge has exciting new prizes (such as monthly prizes for the Most Touching Story) and many more chances for us to win a grant of $1,000 to $10,000 (the grand prize) to help us care for and find loving homes for animals. Think how many animals we could help for $10,000!
Help us win! All you have to do is vote. This action is absolutely free! You can vote once a day, every day, from May 17 through midnight (PST) on August 22, 2010. Every time you vote, or tell a friend to vote, you are making a huge difference for us. You could even post this info on a social networking site such as Facebook, MySpace, and YouTube.

Help us sell raffle tickets
If you would like to help us sell raffle tickets to help raise money for the pets at the shelter, call us at (401) 294-1115 and we will mail them to you. You can also send an e-mail to animalz@cox.net (animalz@cox.net). (The tickets sell for $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. 1st prize is $500, 2nd is $200, and 3rd is $100. The drawing is October 27, 2010.)
Can you donate a van?
We are in desperate need of a mini cargo van. We use a van daily to transport animals to and from veterinarian appointments, haul supplies to the shelter, or take items to our many fundraising events. Our current van was donated many years ago is in complete disrepair. If you have a van to donate, please call the shelter at (401) 294-1115 or send an e-mail to animalz@cox.net.
