| The All-Star Animal Rescue Site $100,000 Shelter+ Challenge
| May 17 through midnight (PST) August 22
The Animal Rescue Site is hosting its second 2010 special challenge for eligible shelter and rescue groups. The grand prize is a $10,000 grant, and they will be awarding many other prizes to groups with the most votes — a total of $100,000 in grants. Help us win! All you have to do is vote for us once a day, every day. Voting is easy - for instructions, go to our home page. Think how many animals we could help for $10,000!

| Raffle tickets

We're selling raffle tickets again this year to help raise money to care for the pets at the shelter. The tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. 1st prize is $500, 2nd is $200, and 3rd is $100. If you would like to help us sell tickets, call us at (401) 294-1115 and we will mail them to you. You can also send an e-mail to animalz@cox.net (animalz@cox.net). The drawing is October 27.
